Clothing that has Spandex in the material tends to have a little stretch and be more relaxed and comfortable. And it washes easily too. But if you want your Spandex jeans and clothing to last longer, wash it in cold water and hang the garments to dry. Jeans might need one or two minutes on low in the dryer when slightly damp to make them softer. Spandex does tend to lose its good qualities in the dryer, so avoid using it as much as you can. Hanging clothing also has another benefit, it will save energy.
